Hi, I'm looking to add artwork for each chapter that would include the name of the chapter (to get around the lack of chapter names on the iPod). I did this, and copy/pasted the image from Preview to the drop zone for each chapter. Looks good in the app. The problem is that when I sync'ed my iPod, the image is just a white box. What format and pixel size does the artwork need to be?

Okay, just looked at iTunes, the artwork shows there, but not on the iPod.

Strange that it would work in the app and in iTunes but not on the iPod. Audiobook Builder should convert all artwork to PNG just before adding it to the final Audiobook file so the specifics of the original image shouldn't matter so much.

Which iPod do you have there? And, can you describe the steps you're taking to add the text to your Chapter artwork, including the editing application and any file format specifics, and how you're adding the resulting image to each Chapter (dragging a file or simply pasting in)?

Hi Keith, I used Pages to create a textbox with the name of each chapter and dropped onto the page (and resized) the image of the book (from a webpage). I would then click on the textbox and shift-click on the image and drag-drop the two onto the well in Audiobook Builder for the appropriate chapter.

Like I said, works fine in iTunes, but not on my iPod Video (80GB model, not Classic, the one before).

Which version of Pages do you have there? We just tried to drag directly from Pages '06 and Pages '08 and neither seems willing to let drags drop outside of their documents.

iWork 08, version 3.0.2, but you are correct, I just went to redo it and remembered I did a copy/paste. Sorry about that...

Now we're in a state. Earlier we figured we'd go ahead with a copy & paste test and it displays Chapter artwork properly on our 5G iPod. Maybe we need to see a test Project from your end. Can you reproduce the issue using a Project with a single File in a single Chapter, then send the Project to us at support@splasm.com ?
