Created my first couple of projects with Audiobook Builder. One was directly from CD, the other was from iTunes files that were already imported from CD, but not bookified yet (used to use JoinTogether before upgrading my Mac). Pretty slick!

The compiled files went to iTunes successfully, but are listed under Music rather than books. I have checked and the file names are *.m4b (which I thought was all it took to go into books).

The computer on which I created the audio books uses iTunes 11. I transferred the playlists to a computer with iTunes 10 and they also showed up under Music rather than Books.

Any ideas?

OK, this is embarrassing. I didn't notice that Books has subheadings of Books and Audio Books. The book files show up in Books->Audio Books. I found them in Music because you can display Playlists there but not in Books unless you select to show the sidebar in the view menu. The individual files don't show up in Music.

Go figure.
