I have a 1st gen nano that can't play the first part of any audiobook I create in ABB. The iPod doesn't skip back to the main screen or forget chapter stops - it just refuses to play Part 1 of any book. Gah! Single-part books play fine. I can play the first part on the iPod when I'm connected to my Mac. When I disconnect and hit play, the iPod skips to the next track (in this case, part 2 of that book). This is not book-specific - it has happened to all my multi-part books. I've tried deleting and recopying the book to the iPod without success. I'm now rebuilding the whole book in ABB to see if that might help. The original parts were 6.5 hours in length. Can anyone help? |

Have tried various possible things and the only way to make it work is to copy only Part 1 onto the nano, listen to it and then remove it and copy Part 2. However, tried the files on an iPhone and all is well. Except it's not my iPhone, so...now I'm hoping a new gen iPod will be under the tree for me. |
