I just upgraded from 2.7.34 to 3.0 ... and noticed that even though I transferred my checkbook database to 3.0, I lost all of the configurations - fonts, reports, etc.

What happened to the "column picker" in the registers?

I've also noticed that the color theme (light/dark) appears only to follow the system setting... so I cannot use a "dark" setting on my Mac, but use a "light" setting in Checkbook Pro.

Also, I still don't see an option to save the Print Check dialog settings to force a single check in "landscape (centered)". (Issue described here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7032#p13555)

Seems like a lot of missed opportunities...

In v3.0, the color of the running account BALANCE does not reflect the actually account balance... regardless of whether the entry is a debit or credit, the account balance should reflect the color of the actual account balance and not the color of the entry line. This is how it worked in v 2.7 (See attached).

Please either correct the behavior to match what happened in v2.7 or give us a configuration option to set it for ourselves.

Note: I have the color set to GREEN for positive balance and BLACK for a negative balance.

The column picker is still in my version. Right clicking on a column brings up a list of available columns.

To answer your other question, my balance column color still follows the color of the balance.

I guess the Splasm team will need to check out what might be going on.

In v2.7 the register has a little icon in the upper right corner of the screen that would open the column picker... that is gone... and, yes, after I posted the above message I found the column picker in the View>Columns menu... but the icon in the register was much more convenient.

We eliminated that button because we had countless users reach out about the difficulties it caused resizing their rightmost column. But, right-click anywhere in the column header area and you'll still have access to the same menu. Hopefully that helps!

That works... thanks for the tip.
