1. I can't print details of splits from CheckBook. And the register print out isn't very large or easily used to identify specific items. 2. Can one "memorize" a set of specified items, save them for later use ( as in Quicken 2000)? I need to make reports, save and print out categories. I'd appreciate any help withe the above. 3. Does CheckBook Pro offer more of those kinds of options? I can't tell if it does. I don't need investment or budgeting type options, but I do need the details of my check book register. Thank you, Barbara -(still in CheckBook trial mode) |

Barbara, You can print splits and other details using Summaries. Summaries are also saved and can be reused for later viewing or printing. You can find Summaries and their saved presets on the Summaries tab. CheckBook Pro does offer the following features over CheckBook: Smart Folders - search your data using any combination of criteria Folders - group or archive your Entries any way you want Global Account Summaries - reports for all your Accounts Global Scheduled Entries Reminder - manage all your pending Scheduled Entries at once Multiple Entry Change - quickly change the details for the current selection You can try both versions for free with the same data set. Just download CheckBook Pro and run it to try out its unique features. Make sure you are only running one version at a time though to ensure that no data is lost between the two. Let us know if you have more questions! |
