Hello! I just got a new Macbook Pro and will be transferring everything from an iMac. How can I transfer my Checkbook Pro without losing anything? I have been using it for 3 years. I found my confirmation receipt in my email and have the serial number. Thank you! |

Transferring everything should work okay. If you are prompted, just enter registration on CBPro. Make sure you've got backups of everything before doing the transfer. Time Machine works great for this and you can do the restore from that. |

Thank you. But how can I transfer the actual application? Do I re-download it from the site? I am sorry, I am not a techie at all. |

You can use the Migration Assistant in the Utilities folder in your Applications folder to migrate everything from your old Mac to the new one. This will pretty much copy everything, including Apps and is the easiest way to get everything into your new mac. Or if you've already transferred things to the new Mac, you can re download and install CBPro and then renter the reg info upon starting the app again. |
