| Post subject: | Data sharing with family pack |
I purchased the 5 user family pack shortly after trying CheckBook tonight. The program seems to fit my family's needs very well, but I'm not sure the multi-user license is actually useful. I purchased the multi-user license in hopes of being able to share data files with my wife. We both have laptops and I had hoped to store the data files on our home server (a Mac Mini). I've read searched through the documentation and read the forums, but it doesn't appear as if there is a solution allowing two computers to share the same files. Has anyone come up with a solution for this problem? One of our goals in abandoning an old style paper checkbook register was to be able to share data and not be concerned about how has the register today. Thanks in advance for any information provided. |
