According to CBP online documentation, CBP "automatically backs up about once a week." Would you please tell me if this behavior the same for all of the following: Clicking on the close button on the Safari Toolbar File > Close File > Backup > Save (Automatic plus backup in designated folder?) Preferences > Quit |

Automatic backups are created at launch whenever the application recognizes there's been no automatic backup created in over a week. So, it doesn't really matter how you exit the application after a given session, so long as it's quit and relaunched, at any point. So, basically, if your Preferences are set to where the application is quit upon closing the main window, you'll be set and making a backup using the Backup option will indeed give you an additional backup at an alternate location. |
