This something simple but, I am slow. I have everything set up to mirror the way the bank has their info set to so that it is a smooth set up. I wanted to add a memo field that I could put notes in. I always have a "CVS Pharmacy" and I don't want to change or modify that line, I want to have a place where I could put" RX" one time and the next time I could put "cosmetics". I am sure there is a way to do it, but I need a little help.

If you have used up the category and description field, there is another field called notes within each entry. It is not yet viewable in the main entry window and is meant for longer notes on entries.

You can access the notes field by editing an entry, and switching to the notes tab across the top of the entry sheet.

Thanks, I found the notes area, but I am not able to view that as a list column? If not is there another way to add one?

Notes are not viewable in the column layout. are you using type, description, and category fields already?

Thanks, I guess it can't be done. I didn't have the time to devote to it previously so I am just picking up on things. I have everything in use. I like it because it matches up with how the back does it, expect my example of the pharmacy. I might have 6 transactions in a month but each time for a different reason. Of course on the physical cheek book I can write, RX, gift, or personal next to it. I just wanted to do that with disturbing all the columns.
