When synching with online banking in Quicken, only transactions that are not already reconciled show up. In CheckBook Pro, it seems that all transactions for the month appear each time the .qif file is downloaded. I have to go through every time and compare every transaction between the .qif and my own register, and they never even seem to appear in the same order. This is a nightmare, and a real deal-killer for me with this software. Am I missing something? I have looked through the help file and this forum and find nothing about this issue. Perhaps I am not doing this right. Any ideas, please?

CheckBook does run some checks to see if the transaction in the new QIF already exists in your account. If it matches, the incoming entry of that QIF will be unchecked on import and will not come into the account. It is a pretty narrow set of criteria, because we do not want to miss importing a transaction that is of the same amount in the same time span.

If you have specific examples and would like to discuss this further, feel free to post examples or email us more details on how you expect these features to work. You can always reach us at support@splasm.com
